Evaluation
Evaluation of the first year study programme of the MasterThe first year is a preparation for the next year of the Master, it will go deeper into the matter. The first and the seventh course were not that interesting. A lot was repeated and the assignments were not challenging enough. I liked the course about machine learning (the second course). There were a couple of assignments that caught my interest and were also challenging, these assignments were; the program plan of the sixth course, the assignment of the eighth course and my internship assignments. The assignment of the sixth course, the program plan, was very broad and it was difficult to start. However the assignment used almost every medical informatics aspect and that was interesting, we had to create a program plan for implementing new software applications in the AMC and replace or remove some old applications. The question is, how we gonna do that? Thinking about that and ventilating your plans in the written report and discuss it afterwards with fellow students.
The internship assignments were interesting, because you could choose your own area of interest and a subject you like. Furthermore the assignments were useful to the supervisor and your research added something and mean something to the people you work for; that in particular is satisfying.
In general the Master dives deeper into the matter than the Bachelor; however some courses could be more difficult and more challenging, some courses were given at a Bachelor level. Furthermore the workload of the Master could be higher. The Master will be more mature when it is more difficult and more challenging.
