Evaluation

Evaluation of the course and assignments

I participated in this course, because I want to learn something about the second world language. The lectures were given two times a week and were two hours in length. Our Spanish lecturer was very enthusiastic. However the workload of the course was very high; the same amount of information is given in three years at the high school, we had to do it in 16 weeks.

Personally the course was a success; I learned a lot about the Spanish language and culture, I can manage standard situation, however I did not pass the exam. I had to do another course to get my ECTS.

The structure of the lectures was very good, it was al about communicating and only the supportive grammar was discussed. The reason why such grammar rules exists was not within the scope of this course. The materials used were also very good; some reading exercises, but most of the exercises were communication-based. It was a very interesting course and I have no regrets that I have followed this course, despite I did not pass the exam.
