BASCR - Final Thesis
Course description
Course lay-outOn basis on their portfolio students describe which academic skills they have mastered in the past three years. They will critically evaluate their own skills; they report which knowledge they have acquired and how they can use this knowledge in the future. Finally they give their vision on Medical Informatics and which role they gonna play in this area.
Educational goals
In the final thesis the student will describe the academic skills and knowledge he has gathered during the Bachelor. Furthermore the (overall) quality of the study will be evaluated and what the study can mean for the student himself. The student is able to critically evaluate his own academic skills and acquired knowledge and report his findings in a written report. Specific end goals of the final theses are that the student will develop the following skills even further:
determine at the hand of a portfolio which academic skills have been acquired and which purpose these skills serve and the importance of this skills for future work & study
evaluate which knowledge has been acquired and how this knowledge can be applied in the real world or in the Master Medical Informatics
writing a report about this reflection
